Accountabilities

  • Own and manage organic social media channels, with a primary focus on Instagram.

  • Develop and execute social media strategies designed to increase brand awareness, engagement, community growth, and follower growth.

  • Build and maintain an editorial content calendar, coordinating the scheduling, publishing, and optimization of content across relevant platforms.

  • Define appropriate content formats, messaging, creative approaches, and publishing strategies for each social channel.

  • Monitor community engagement, respond to comments where appropriate, and coordinate with internal teams to address customer or community needs.

  • Analyze organic social performance and create regular reports containing actionable insights and recommendations.

  • Identify high-performing organic content and support paid social amplification when relevant.

  • Collaborate closely with Brand Management, Marketing, Creative, CRM, and Ecommerce teams to ensure consistent and effective brand communication.

  • Support the development and execution of UGC and influencer marketing initiatives as these channels continue to evolve.

  • Lead, mentor, and support the content and social media team, establishing clear goals, priorities, expectations, and ways of working.

  • Organize and prioritize team workloads according to business requirements, campaign objectives, deadlines, and available resources.

  • Establish and continuously improve workflows covering briefing, feedback, review cycles, approvals, version control, and final delivery.

  • Ensure the team operates efficiently while consistently delivering high-quality content on time.

  • Provide regular feedback and coaching to help team members strengthen both creative quality and operational efficiency.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in a mid-to-senior social media management role, preferably within retail, fashion, lifestyle, consumer goods, or another brand-led environment.

  • Demonstrated success in growing organic social media accounts, particularly Instagram.

  • Previous experience leading, mentoring, or managing a creative or social media team.

  • Strong experience providing creative direction, evaluating written content, and delivering constructive creative feedback.

  • Deep understanding of current social media trends, content formats, platform algorithms, audience behavior, and social media best practices.

  • Hands-on experience with social media management and analytics platforms such as Meta Business Suite, Metricool, or comparable tools.

  • Strong analytical capabilities, with the ability to interpret social performance data and translate insights into practical strategic recommendations.

  • Excellent organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple campaigns, priorities, stakeholders, and deadlines simultaneously.

  • Strong presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills.

  • Creative mindset combined with analytical thinking, commercial awareness, and strong attention to detail.

  • Self-driven, proactive, and comfortable taking ownership and working independently.

  • Strong leadership and people-development skills, with the ability to establish structure while encouraging creativity and initiative.

  • Native-level German, with a strong understanding of German-market audiences, cultural trends, and consumer insights.

  • Strong business-fluent English, both written and spoken.

  • Passion for social media, content creation, digital communities, and evolving platform trends.
