Accountabilities

  • Own end-to-end delivery across assigned client engagements, including planning, execution cadence, scope management, quality, dependencies, and on-time outcomes.

  • Lead delivery rhythms covering sprint planning, backlog management, execution tracking, releases, forecasts, risks, and dependencies.

  • Ensure delivery teams follow agreed engineering standards, technical direction, and delivery processes.

  • Translate client business problems into clear technical direction and ensure teams remain aligned with expected outcomes and business value.

  • Lead product demonstrations and customer-facing sessions, ensuring solutions are clearly communicated and aligned with client expectations.

  • Act as the primary delivery lead across engagements, extending traditional project management responsibilities with technical and operational leadership.

  • Manage resource allocation and capacity planning across concurrent engagements while maintaining visibility into delivery performance.

  • Establish delivery governance, KPIs, reporting, and accountability mechanisms to improve predictability and execution quality.

  • Identify, manage, and escalate delivery and technical risks while proactively removing impediments to execution.

  • Monitor delivery economics, utilization, scope, margin, and account-health signals, escalating risks and opportunities early.

  • Manage and develop delivery team members or team leads through coaching, feedback, performance support, and career development.

  • Foster a healthy, accountable team culture focused on ownership, quality, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

  • Lead client stakeholder conversations, set expectations, steer discussions, and reframe priorities when required.

  • Partner closely with Customer Success to align delivery execution, communication cadence, client expectations, and account objectives.

  • Collaborate with Solution Architects, QA, DevOps, and shared technical services to ensure delivery plans are practical and executable.

  • Serve as a primary escalation point for delivery and execution issues involving internal teams or client stakeholders.

  • Communicate delivery progress in terms of business outcomes and value realization rather than task completion alone.

  • Contribute to account strategy by identifying risks, opportunities, innovation initiatives, and potential AI use cases that can strengthen client outcomes.

  • Support performance, compensation, growth, and organizational decisions in collaboration with leadership.

Requirements


  • Bring 8+ years of experience in software delivery environments, with significant responsibility for delivery execution and technical team leadership.

  • Demonstrate a strong understanding of modern software development practices, system design principles, and architectural patterns.

  • Have hands-on experience delivering projects within Agile environments such as Scrum, Kanban, or similar methodologies.

  • Be familiar with at least one major cloud platform, such as Azure, AWS, or GCP, as well as modern DevOps practices and CI/CD concepts.

  • Have proven ability to manage delivery planning, execution, dependencies, and risks across multiple concurrent engagements.

  • Be proficient with delivery and project management tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, or equivalent platforms.

  • Demonstrate experience leading, coaching, and developing technical teams, including providing performance feedback and supporting career growth.

  • Be comfortable operating as a people manager and contributing to performance and compensation decisions.

  • Possess strong communication and collaboration skills, particularly when working with Customer Success, technical teams, clients, and other cross-functional stakeholders.

  • Demonstrate sound judgment under pressure and the ability to balance delivery speed, quality, technical considerations, and commercial outcomes.

  • Have a trusted leadership presence and the ability to lead through clarity, accountability, influence, and credibility rather than formal authority.

  • A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is a plus.

  • Experience leading teams or engagements in Data and Analytics, technology consulting, professional services, or SaaS environments is advantageous.

  • Experience managing distributed or remote teams is desirable.

  • Agile, Scrum, project management, or cloud certifications are considered a plus but are not required.
