The Role

Reporting to our Investment Banking Chief of Staff and working closely with the Investment Banking team’s Senior Executive Assistant, the role will provide full administrative support to our Investment Banking department, including secretarial support to the IBD leadership team and sector heads.

Responsibilities

  • Extensive diary management for multiple senior bankers \- scheduling meetings and establishing priorities to ensure smooth and efficient running of daily schedules

  • Organising multi\-party meetings and conference calls, handling schedule conflicts and last\-minute changes

  • Coordinating complex travel arrangements and preparing detailed itineraries

  • Handling sensitive and confidential material and always maintaining discretion

  • Professionally handling calls and mailbox queries, escalating as required to the relevant internal teams

  • Regularly interacting with senior colleagues, corporate clients, board members, and other relevant stakeholders

  • Ad hoc tasks for the Chief of Staff, including database updates, client record keeping, managing meeting minutes and formatting PowerPoint presentations

  • Preparing and submitting expenses and invoices in line with the company policy
Requirements
  • Administrative and secretarial experience within Financial or Professional Services desirable but not required

  • Intermediate level MS Outlook skills (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint)

  • High attention to detail and accuracy

  • Proactive and adaptable approach to anticipate and respond to changing priorities in a calm and professional manner

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills

  • Ability to work with sensitive information with a high level of confidentiality

  • Able to build strong working relationships at all levels

  • Well presented, positive attitude and personable style
Pay: £32,000\.00\-£36,000\.00 per year
