Can you bring energy, enthusiasm, and a sporting mindset to the classroom? We are seeking a dedicated and active Teaching Assistant to join a vibrant and supportive Alternative Provision in the Accrington area. This is an incredibly rewarding opportunity to work with young people who require extra support, guidance, and inspiration to reach their full potential.

The Role In this role, you won't just be sitting at a desk. You will be an active mentor, helping to create a positive, high-energy environment where students feel motivated to learn.

  • Resilience & Empathy: Experience working within an Alternative Provision, PRU, or with social, emotional, and mental health (SEMH) needs is a plus, but the right attitude and a thick skin are essential.

  • Strong Communication: The ability to connect with teenagers, de-escalate challenging situations, and earn their trust.

Why Choose This Alternative Provision? • A highly supportive and welcoming staff team.
  • Excellent training and professional development opportunities.

  • Smaller class sizes that allow for genuine connection and mentorship.
