Are you a passionate and experienced Level 3 Teaching Assistant looking for a rewarding role this September? We are seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary/secondary school in Trafford, where you'll play a key role in supporting pupils both in the classroom and through targeted intervention sessions.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys helping children achieve their full potential and is confident delivering small\-group and 1:1 intervention programmes.
The Role
As a Level 3 Teaching Assistant, you will:
- Support the class teacher in delivering engaging lessons.
- Lead targeted intervention sessions in literacy, numeracy, and other curriculum areas.
- Deliver 1:1 and small\-group support to pupils who require additional guidance.
- Monitor pupil progress and provide feedback to teachers.
- Encourage confidence, independence, and positive learning behaviours.
- Support children with a range of learning needs where required.
- Help create a positive, inclusive, and nurturing learning environment.
Essential:
- Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent).
- Previous experience working in a UK school.
- Experience delivering intervention programmes.
- Strong literacy and numeracy skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- A proactive, flexible, and positive approach.
- Experience supporting pupils with SEND.
- Knowledge of phonics programmes and/or intervention strategies.
- Experience working across KS1 or KS2 (or secondary, depending on placement)
- Competitive daily pay: £97\.68–£120 per day
