The Interim Executive Headteacher and Governing Body of Lliswerry Primary School are looking to appoint 2 x Fixed\-term Teaching Assistants who will work with pupils with Additional Learning Needs (ALN). The successful candidates will:* be caring, patient and inclusive in their approach and have the ability to build positive relationships and support pupils with Additional Learning Needs to engage in learning and develop independence.
- demonstrate strong behaviour management skills and the ability to adapt strategies flexibly to respond to pupils’ individual needs in a range of situations
- be able to work effectively as part of a team, collaborating with teachers, support staff, families and external professionals to support pupils’ development and wellbeing
- have the ability to adapt learning activities and use a range of targeted strategies to support pupils in accessing the curriculum
- be committed to promoting a positive, supportive learning environment where all pupils feel safe, valued and able to achieve their best.
The appointment process will involve an interview with the Interim Executive Headteacher and the Senior Leadership Team.
