We are seeking…
A dedicated and compassionate Teaching Assistant to support children with communication and language needs in our SEND Hub.
The successful candidate will:
- Support children with speech, language and communication needs (SLCN) to access learning and develop their independence.
- Work closely with the class teacher and SEND team to provide tailored support, both in class and in small groups.
- Use a range of strategies and resources to support communication and language development.
- Help to create an inclusive, positive and nurturing learning environment.
- Work in partnership with families and external professionals to ensure the best outcomes for our pupils.
- Contribute to the wider life of the school and support pupils’ personal, social and emotional development.
- A supportive, inclusive school community where everyone is valued.
- A dedicated SEND Hub with strong resources and a clear vision.
- Ongoing training and professional development, including specific training related to Communication and Language.
- A supportive and collaborative team of staff and specialist professionals.
