The Directors of Exceed Learning Partnership and Governors of Carr Lodge Academy are looking to appoint a Temporary Teaching Assistant to join our amazing Early Years Pupil Support Team.
Carr Lodge Academy is part of Exceed Learning Partnership, a Multi Academy Trust that currently comprises of 10 Academies, Bentley High Street Primary School, Carr Lodge Academy, Edlington Victoria Academy, Hall Cross Academy, Hill Top Academy, Rosedale Primary School, Sandringham Primary School, Sheep Dip Lane Academy, The Mallard Academy and Willow Primary School What We Are Looking For:
- The ability to communicate clearly and patiently with children, understanding their unique needs and levels of comprehension.
- The ability to communicate effectively with the class teacher, providing feedback on pupil progress and challenges.
- To support with classroom setup, preparing materials for lessons, and managing small groups. Strong organisational skills are crucial for keeping the classroom running smoothly.
- A solid understanding of basic literacy and numeracy is essential to effectively support students with their reading, writing, and math tasks.
- The ability to implement classroom rules and manage issues calmly and consistently and maintain a productive learning environment.
- The ability to adapt to different tasks and situations, whether it’s helping a struggling pupil, assisting with an educational project, or supervising during playtime and lunchtime.
- A positive and enthusiastic attitude can make learning fun and engaging for students, fostering a love of education.
