Summary
Balshaw Lane Primary is a happy school where personal development and positive relationships are at the heart. We have wonderful staff and supportive governors and trustees.
We wish to appoint a part time teaching assistant to support the classroom teacher and children's needs in the classroom, working under the guidance of the class teacher to help ensure a calm, happy working environment where children flourish.
The role is part\-time, working 8\.55am\-12\.00pm.fMonday to Friday. The contract will be for 38 weeks, term time, and will be permanent.
We are a Good school with outstanding personal development (April 2025\), as judged by Ofsted.
We require our TAs to be hard\-working, hands\-on, able to use initiative independently and with excellent attendance. You will be involved in the daily practicalities of the classroom, including relating to medical and hygiene needs or supporting children with SEN. Training will be provided for first aid, any medical or SEN needs.
The closing date is 12th June 2026 at 9am
