Join one of the UK's leading sporting universities and build a pathway that takes talented student\-athletes from any sporting background into performance rowing. Where the potential is there, that pathway leads on to Scottish Rowing, British Rowing and GB Rowing programmes.
You'll be part of a high\-performance culture that helps athletes thrive both academically and athletically.
- Finding talent (30%): Run annual recruitment campaigns and talent\-transfer initiatives, working with University clubs and coaches to identify athletes with the physical, technical and behavioural potential for rowing.
- Coaching (40%): Plan and deliver evidence\-informed programmes on land and water, build strong technical foundations, and create individual development plans.
- Managing the pathway (20%): Set clear progression standards from recruitment to our senior squads. Hold regular athlete reviews, and support athletes through testing, trialling and national selection.
- Running the programme (10%): Keep accurate records, contribute to planning and review, and support the safe use of boats, facilities and equipment.
