Talencia is looking for an experienced Data engineer for one of his clients.
Location: Brussels
Start Date: ASAP
Duration: 6 months \+ (till end of 2027\)
Language: English \+ FR or NL
Homeworking: Partially remote
As a Data Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining the bank's data architecture, including ETL/ELT pipelines and data warehouses. You will work closely with the Senior Data Analyst to ensure the availability of reliable, secure, and highly optimized data.
Mission
Data Pipelines: Develop, test, and productionize robust ETL/ELT pipelines to integrate multi\-source banking data streams.
Architecture \& Storage: Assist in setting up and optimizing relational and dimensional database structures.
Performance Tuning: Ensure data quality, traceability, and high performance of SQL queries and production databases.
Security \& Compliance: Maintain strict compliance with banking data security standards and regulations.
Profile
Technical Skills Flawless mastery of SQL
Solid knowledge of relational and dimensional data modeling.
Proficiency with modern data engineering tools (Python, ETL tools, Cloud or On\-premises banking infrastructure).
Soft Skills: Team player with strong technical rigor and excellent interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with the Data Analyst and infrastructure teams.
Languages: Fluent in English, combined with either French or Dutch.
