  • Supporting the AWS infrastructure used in the provision of the planning system.

  • Responsible for the end\-to\-end operation, support, maintenance, monitoring, and troubleshooting of the development, test, and live environments

  • Contributing to the specification, design, and installation of these environments.

  • Integrating with other BBC and external systems is an important part of the team’s ongoing work.

ESSENTIAL CRITERIA:

  • Experience of configuration, administration, monitoring and maintenance of cloud\-based business critical systems

  • Knowledge of database administration and associated tools, e.g.MS SQL, SSMS

  • Experience of using command\-line interfaces and languages such as AWS CLI, PowerShell, Bash and Python

  • Experience of systems integration and systems automation

  • Skilled at identifying and troubleshooting system problems, providing 3rd/4th level support.

  • Good communication skills with examples of writing technical specifications and requirements in a clear and concise manner
If you can bring some of these skills and experience, along with transferable strengths, we’d love to hear from you and encourage you to apply.
