In this role, you'll receive comprehensive training to become proficient in the intricacies of the Royal Navy's Trident Strategic Weapon System. As part of our esteemed instructor team, you'll play a vital role in shaping the next generation of defence experts, fostering a culture of excellence and precision in technical training.
Key Responsibilities:* Collaborate closely with our seasoned instructor team to deliver top\-notch technical training aligned with the statement of training requirement.
- Inspire and mentor trainees with infectious enthusiasm, ensuring the highest standards of training excellence are upheld.
- Provide hands\-on support for both practical and theoretical training sessions, catering to the needs of both the Royal Navy and our industry partners at the Trident Training Facility.
- Conduct thorough reviews of training documentation under the guidance of the Training Delivery Associate Manager, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory standards.
- Embrace shift work as necessary to support the Royal Navy's Training and Trident Enterprise Support Trainer Programs.
- Maintain up\-to\-date knowledge of approved documentation, health and safety regulations, and compliance standards to uphold the integrity of the Trident Program and meet company requirements.
Required skills, qualifications and experience
- SWS Instructor, SWS Operator or a Technical (Engineering) Trainer looking to move into an exciting new domain
- Demonstrated expertise in instructional delivery, with a track record of engaging and effective teaching methodologies.
- Exceptional organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities seamlessly.
- Strong interpersonal and presentation abilities, fostering a collaborative and inclusive learning environment.
- Flexibility and adaptability to accommodate shift work requirements, demonstrating a can\-do attitude in all situations.
- Motivated, reliable, and proactive, with a keen sense of initiative and a commitment to meeting deadlines.

Lockheed Martin UK – Strategic Systems (LMUK SS) is the single contractor providing specialist Waterfront In\-Service Support to one of the Royal Navy's Submarine Programs. The company provides the Ministry of Defence (MoD) with safe, efficient and responsive support. LMUK SS, as part of the ABL Alliance with AWE and Babcock, is also responsible for the management of operations at RNAD Coulport. Looking to the future, LMUK SS supports the joint US and UK submarine design efforts.
