Switchgear Panel Builder

Here at G59 Projects we are heavily based in the Renewable Energy sector supplying various services and products to our customers. Our main area's of service are LV Distribution Panels and general Switchgear from Isolator panels to large Distribution Panels.

We are looking for an experienced individual who has determination and drive with a proactive approach who is willing to get stuck in and be part of a team.

We require the successful candidate to posses experience in:

• Surface mount technology experience


• Assembly skills


• Electrical experience and knowledge a must


• Proficiency in reading and interpreting schematics an advantage


• Familiarity with hand tools and power tools


• Mechanical aptitude

This position would suit an experienced panel builder/wireman or suit an experienced electrician who maybe looking to have a change of direction.

Qualifications

• No specific requirements although previous experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Assemble switchgear panels using surface mount technology and hand tools, ensuring adherence to schematics and specifications.


• Utilise electrical experience to troubleshoot and resolve issues during the assembly process.


• Operate power tools and programmable logic controllers to enhance efficiency and accuracy.


• Collaborate with team members to ensure timely project completion while maintaining high\-quality standards.


• Apply mechanical knowledge to support the assembly and testing of electrical components.

In return you will receive a starting rate of £14\.20 per hour per hour based on 40 hours per week. Also included with the package are;

• 20 days holiday plus Bank holidays (increasing by 1 day for each full year of service)
