Sustainability Reporting \& Customer Impact Data Analyst

As our Sustainability Reporting \& Customer Impact Data Analyst you will be responsible for keeping track of our sustainability data and how we progress on our major kpi’s within the biggest division: Commercial Waste Netherlands and Belgium. The scope captures our full carbon footprint as well as other sustainability KPIs such as our recycling rate and carbon avoidance. You would be utilizing your knowledge of our processes and data to improve and extend the impact data made available to our customers. In the customer portal MyRenewi customers have access to carbon and circularity impact data. This data is to be regularly updated, improved and validated by our expert partners. This impact data serves as the foundation to our newly launched customer\-facing sustainability offering. The role of Sustainability Reporting \& Customer Impact Data Analyst thus covers both inward\-looking as well as outward\-sharing aspects that in one function, ensure alignment, foster transparency, and maximize valorization of our impact data.

Your top 5 responsibilities:

• Keeping track of sustainability data \& progress per KPI within the CW division on a quarterly basis. Owning and improving our carbon footprint and recycling rate reporting methodologies. Build dashboards if necessary. Managing alignment on key metrics and calculate their impact on strategic choices.


• Act as bridge between Group Sustainability Reporting team and Sustainability team, combining reporting methodologies and data with commercial and strategic opportunities and concept development.


• Improve customer impact data quality and alignment with company impact data. Expand number of waste streams for which impact data is calculated. Own customer impact data topic and stakeholder management with expert partners. Being the owner of impact data for CW division, and finding your way into the Specialities division when needed.


• Support the development of commercial sustainability opportunities, by developing methodologies for calculating associated sustainability benefits and supporting dashboards for external validation.


• Supporting sustainability /ESG audits and ratings (e.g. CO2\-prestatieladder).

It is an exciting time to work on sustainability data and to join this team. Renewi will be making major improvements to its sustainability data\- and reporting.

Your new team:

This position will report directly to Head of Sustainability. You will be part of a small team of data\-driven strategic \& commercial sustainability enthusiasts. The team focuses on developing action plans to reach our sustainability targets, and the development of sustainable solutions to our customers. Functionally, you will be working closely with the wider sustainability community from other departments, and the Group Sustainability Reporting team.

Colleagues live across The Netherlands and Belgium. Eindhoven is where the team convenes regularly, though the job demands from the team that they are flexible in terms of place of work.

Your profile:

We’re looking for a new colleague with experience with Sustainability kpi’s and impact measurement. You are curious and you like to get to the bottom of things. Besides that, you are open minded, cooperative and you come up proactively with ideas and suggestions.

In addition to this you will bring

• 5\+ years of work experience in relevant corporate sustainability, LCA’s, sustainability reporting, finance, and/or ESG data \& analytics context


• Excellent analytical, problem\-solving and report writing skills


• Strong knowledge of computer software applications (MSWord, PowerPoint, Excel \& Power Bi); Experience with programming languages like Python or SQL is a “plus”


• Master's degree in business, economics, finance, environmental management or sustainability


• Hands\-on and outstanding interpersonal and communication skills to interact with internal and external stakeholders while working in an international collaborative team environment


• A team player, able to work with professionals from different disciplines and cultural backgrounds, while being capable to operate independently and proactively


• Fluent in Dutch and advanced in English (spoken/written). Proficient command of other languages highly valued (French, Flemish, etc.)

Our procedure:

• Screening call via Teams in the week of June 29\.


• The first round of interviews are scheduled July 6 or 8\.


• The second round of interviews will be scheduled the following week. It is possible that a short “Sustainability Study case” will be asked to be prepared upfront and be presented briefly in this meeting.


• Offer to our dream candidate will be done before the end of July so you can preferably start in September.
