Established in 2006, Lacey Plumbing \& Heating is a fully accredited commercial and domestic plumbing and heating firm serving Greater Manchester and the North West, partnering with fit\-out contractors, refurbishment teams and facilities managers on projects from first fix to handover. Recent work includes Cut \& Craft Manchester, Federal Cafe Bar Deansgate and Burnley Bus Station. Backed by Gas Safe registered engineers, accreditations including Constructionline, TrustMark and Worcester Bosch, highly rated on Google and Trustpilot, our reputation is built on trust, quality workmanship and genuine care for our customers. To assist with growth in our business we're looking for an experienced surveyor and site supervisor to help us deliver consistently at a higher standard.

THE ROLE

This is a hands\-on role for someone from a plumbing and heating background who has been on the tools and knows what good looks like. You'll be the technical engine of the business — out on site surveying and pricing work, getting the right parts ordered, overseeing our engineers' work on site, and looking after our customers. You'll split your time between the office, site visits and customer meetings. This isn't a desk\-only job.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Survey sites, measure up and produce accurate, competitive quotes for domestic and commercial jobs.


• Provide expert technical advice — specifying the right solution and solving complex jobs.


• Order the correct parts and materials — right first time, on time.


• Manage and check in on engineers day\-to\-day, reviewing job reports and photos to make sure work meets our standards.


• Liaise with other site and project managers on commercial jobs, representing Lacey on site.


• Follow up with customers, keep them informed, and take ownership of any issues.


• Make sure compliance paperwork, RAMS and handover packs (O\&M manuals) are completed correctly.


• Be the go\-to technical contact for our office team.

• Proven plumbing and heating background (on the tools) — essential.


• Experience surveying, estimating or quoting plumbing and heating work.


• Confident ordering parts and materials, and organised enough to juggle multiple jobs.


• A clear, friendly communicator, comfortable with both homeowners and commercial customers.


• Full UK driving licence.


• Comfortable with job\-management software (Commusoft an advantage).


• Desirable: NVQ Level 2/3 Plumbing \& Heating, Gas Safe registration, and commercial / fit\-out experience.

• A varied, hands\-on role with real responsibility in a friendly, family\-run business.


• From £40,000 per annum (depending on experience)
