Supported Accommodation Service Manager
We are a growing supported care and supervision company. We operate as a community interest company with a strong focus on operational excellence in order to deliver quality outcomes for our residents and local authority partners. We work closely with councils and housing providers to provide well\-managed, compliant accommodation and a high standard of support and supervision for its service users.
We are looking for an exceptional individual to lead the team and drive modernisation of our workplace. This will be someone who can combine hands\-on operational experience of this type of business but who is as comfortable with management oversite of the team and can work to the highest standards of compliance required by this industry.
The Role
This is a management position which can will ideally will be undertaken full part time but part time candidates will be considered (Minimum 4 days per week).
It is our expectation that the right candidate will report to the Managing Director.
Key Responsibilities
Operational Leadership
You will have responsibility for managing the performance of the business, including ensuring high standards of support to our service users, managing the team (ensuring they attend periodic meetings with their allocated service users, complete their support plans and, receive the support they need in accordance with their agreed support plan).
You will also be responsible for room occupancy levels and cost control.
Housing Providers \& Council Relationships
You will lead and maintain strong working relationships with local council and housing partners. Ideally you will have experience in navigating these relationships and driving positive outcomes — including timely responses to request for information and on time and in full recovery of Housing Benefit.
Compliance Oversight
You will be responsible for ensuring statutory compliance obligations are met and maintained at all times.
Governance
You will operate within a clear governance framework, working in close collaboration with shareholders on all key decisions.
Technology and Modernisation
You will help drive a cultural change to ensure full modernisation across the business and the use of technological solutions to drive efficiency. For example by using note taking apps, digitisation of information and HR management applications
What We Are Looking For
The ideal candidate will be an experienced housing or care professional who has operated at a senior level and is comfortable with the full breadth of running a company of this nature — including compliance and operations through to stakeholder management and financial oversight.
You will be self\-motivated, highly organised, and capable of delivering great outcomes for our service users without close supervision.
A background in Housing Benefit processes and supported or managed accommodation would be a significant advantage.

The bonus structure is designed to reward genuine performance. Targets are linked to quality of care records, occupancy, rent collection, housing benefit recovery, and compliance.
