Responsibilities
- Offer personalized support to children and young people, helping them navigate daily routines and activities with patience and encouragement
- Assist with educational activities, fostering learning through engaging teaching methods tailored to individual needs
- Mentor young individuals by providing guidance, positive role modeling, and emotional support to build confidence and resilience
- Support the development of social skills by encouraging participation in group activities and community events
- Collaborate with colleagues, families, and external professionals to ensure comprehensive care plans are followed effectively
- Promote a safe environment by monitoring activities, ensuring safety protocols are adhered to at all times
- Document progress, incidents, and support plans accurately to maintain clear communication and record\-keeping
- Experience working with children or young people in a supportive or educational setting is highly desirable
- Strong mentoring skills with the ability to inspire confidence and motivate others
- Demonstrated ability to teach or facilitate learning activities in a creative and engaging manner
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively connect with young individuals, families, and team members
- Compassionate attitude with a genuine desire to support the growth and development of children
- Ability to work flexibly across various shifts, including evenings or weekends if required
- Relevant qualifications or training in childcare, education, or social care are advantageous but not mandatory
Pay: £25,420\.00\-£37,190\.02 per year
