Here at Sense, we support people with complex disabilities to live the life they choose. We have exciting Support Worker opportunities at Sense Hub Caerphilly, our fully accessible Hub at Caerphilly Business Park; supporting people with complex disabilities including learning difficulties, cerebral palsy, and sensory impairments since 2016\.

These are permanent roles with flexible hours ranging from 16 to 30 per week, including evenings and weekends, paying £13\.00 per hour.

Our Hub is purpose\-built for the people we support, with facilities including sensory rooms, a music room, a pamper suite, an independent living kitchen, an inclusive technology suite, and a sensory garden. From activities at the Hub to trips out in the community, we focus on helping people build new skills, confidence, and communication \- no two days will be the same.

A full UK driving licence and use of your own vehicle are essential for this role.

We are looking for someone who is:


  • Positive, with a can\-do attitude

  • Passionate about enhancing other people's lives

  • Willing to attend training and develop in your role

This role might include supporting people with:


  • Everyday tasks like cooking and cleaning

  • Personal care and hygiene

  • Finances and medication

  • Going into the community for shopping, restaurants, or other trips

  • Their social life and leisure activities
