Quantity Surveyor (Graduate)

Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated Graduate Quantity Surveyor to join our dynamic team. Duties

• Assist in preparing detailed cost estimates and budgets for construction projects


• Support the measurement and valuation of work completed on site


• Monitor project costs and identify potential overspends or savings opportunities


• Assist in procurement processes, including tendering and supplier negotiations


• Maintain accurate records of project costs and variations


• Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and clients to ensure financial targets are met


• Contribute to the preparation of progress reports and financial documentation


• Support the team in ensuring compliance with contractual obligations and health \& safety standards

Qualifications

• Recent graduate with a degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field


• Strong understanding of cost control principles within construction projects


• Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail


• Good communication skills, both written and verbal


• Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently when required


• Proficiency in relevant software such as MS Office Suite; experience with industry\-specific programmes is advantageous


• Enthusiastic attitude with a willingness to learn and develop professional skills
