Support Worker

We are looking for team members to be part of a home team in our soon to open, Ofsted Registered Children's home in Devizes, Wiltshire.
Our homes provide a safe, nurturing environment for children and young people aged 8–18 who have experienced trauma, neglect, and crisis in their young lives.
What You’ll Do
As a Support Worker, you’ll be part of a dedicated team that provides care and support 24/7
Your role will include:
- Supporting young people and with daily routines, education, and personal development.
- Promoting positive activities and community involvement.
- Acting as a role model and advocate.
- Contributing to support plans, risk assessments, and safeguarding.
- Working shifts including evenings, weekends, and sleep\-ins.
Essential:
- Aged 21\+
- Right to work in the UK (unable to offer sponsorship)
- Full UK manual driving licence and access to a vehicle with business insurance
- Calm under pressure and confident in residential care settings
- Understanding of safeguarding, child development, and behaviour management
- NVQ Level 3 in Health \& Social Care, Youth Work, or Education
- Enhanced portable DBS
- Knowledge of welfare benefits, housing options, and mental health issues
- Interests or hobbies you can share with young people (e.g. cooking, sports, music)
