Support Worker – Part time

Location: Loughborough

Salary: £15\.00 – £17\.00 per hour (Enhanced weekend \& night rates!)

Contract: Permanent\- Part\-time 96 hours per calendar month \| Days \& Waking Nights on a rota basis

We are seeking dedicated Support Workers to join a specialist team providing 1:1 care for a young boy with a Rare Disorder. This is a unique opportunity to work in a private home environment, supporting a young person with a tracheostomy and 24\-hour ventilation.

Why This Role is Different

• Competitive Pay Scales:


• Mon–Fri Days: £15\.00/hr


• Mon–Fri Nights: £15\.75/hr


• Weekend Days: £16\.00/hr


• Weekend Nights: £17\.00/hr


• Specialist Training: We pay for your training (£12\.71/hr rate) and provide ongoing clinical supervision to ensure you are confident and skilled in tracheostomy and ventilation care.


• Our shifts are designed to ensure the client has constant support. You must be available to work a combination of the following:


• 96 hours per month


• Long Days (08:00 – 20:00\): Mon/Wed/Fri


• Day Shifts (08:00 – 16:00\): Tue/Thu/Sat/Sun


• Waking Nights (20:00 – 08:00\): Monday to Sunday

You will be more than a support worker; you will be a lifeline. Your role involves:

• Providing high\-quality clinical care (Tracheostomy \& Ventilation).


• Building a strong, professional relationship with a young boy and his family.


• Facilitating \& supporting him with daily living, social activities, and community outings.

You are a resilient, confident, and approachable professional who understands the importance of complex care.

• Experience: Comfortable dealing with complex needs.


• Mindset: You are flexible, patient, and able to adapt to the changing needs of the client.


• Requirements: You must be a non\-smoker, and be willing to undergo an enhanced DBS check.


• A\* full driving licence: \*Preferred but not essential.

Pay: Up to £17\.00 per hour
