Support Worker

About the Role \& You
We are looking for a Support Worker on a full\-time basis on a permanent contract. This role is for 37 hours per week (one post available) and involves a rota system which includes working every other weekend with some bank holidays for which enhancements are paid.
Your main place of work will be in the community, working in service user’s homes.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Supporting individuals with daily living tasks, personal care, and maintaining their tenancy
- Promoting independence, choice, and community involvement
- Administering medication and lone working when required
- Participating in sleep\-ins and shift work
- Collaborating with families, carers, and professionals to deliver person\-centred care
- Encouraging skill development and reducing reliance on support over time
- Experience in social care is an advantage, especially with adults with learning disabilities and/or autism
- Diploma in Social Care Level 3 or equivalent is desirable but not essential
- Willingness to work flexibly, including lone working and sleep\-ins
- A driving licence is helpful but not required
