Supply Chain Team Leader

Hours: 37\.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday

The Role:
We are looking for a results driven Team Leader to join our dynamic team and play a key role in guiding and motivating team members to achieve operational excellence. As a Team Leader, you will be responsible for overseeing a team of administrators who ensure the timely, compliant and cost\-effective supply of appropriately qualified experts, supporting high quality expert reporting, while meeting customer and regulatory requirements
Key Tasks \& Responsibilities:
- To lead, manage and motivate your team
- Monitor supply chain performance and maintain service levels
- Ensure team targets, service levels and key performance indicators are met, on a daily basis
- Continuous updating of the policies and procedures for the team
- Understand and work within agreed company policies and commercial parameters
- Monitor and maintain quality standards
- Complaint ownership \- driving problems to resolution
- Create a culture of communication and engagement within the department
- Performance management and identifying individual training requirements and implementation and delivery of training plans
- Co\-ordinate regular coaching and training for new and existing staff
- Build relationships with customers/Expert panel
- Take ownership for resolving day\-to\-day team issues
- Receive detailed enquiries, qualify, filter and distribute within given boundaries
- Advise the Department Manager on issues such as staff development, training, overtime, targets, service levels, productivity etc
- Identify improvements where necessary and make recommendations on solutions
- Leads by example in areas of integrity, steadiness under pressure, commitment, time management, corporate responsibility and ethics
- Supervise daily operations, ensuring team mailboxes are monitored and workloads are effectively sorted and allocated to maintain workflow efficiency and service standards.
- Allocate tasks effectively, ensuring timely completion of work
- Monitor individual and team KPI’s, provide regular feedback and performance reviews
- Conduct regular audits to ensure high standards of accuracy, compliance, and professionalism are consistently maintained across all team outputs.
- Facilitate clear communication within the team and across departments; lead regular team meetings and updates
- Promote and drive a high\-performance culture by setting clear expectations, recognising achievement, and encouraging continuous improvement across the team.
- Experience in managing a team within a previous role
- Prior fee earner experience particularly in either Housing Condition Claims, Industrial Disease and/or Military claims (desirable, not essential)
- Proactive and innovative, with a desire to improve and streamline processes with the goal of elevating end\-to\-end customer experience
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Self\-motivation with strong organisation and time management skills
- Ability to work under pressure and a desire to succeed
- Ability to motivate and inspire others to perform at their best
- Team player with an impeccable attention to detail and the ability to multi\-task
- Previous experience working within a medico\-legal agency or solicitor firm.
- Proven experience in a supervisory or leadership role
- Knowledge of claim processes and procedures related to personal injury and industrial disease claims.
- Competitive salary DOE from £30,000
