Accounts Assistant
Overview
We are seeking a detail\-oriented and organised Accounts Assistant with a practice background to join our friendly team at our office in South Liverpool.
The ideal candidate will be familiar with managing their own client portfolio and looking for the next phase in their development through increased responsibilities.
This role is ideal for an existing accounts assistant looking to take the next step in their career.
Experience required in
- Accounts preparation for small limited companies and sole traders
- Completion of quarterly VAT returns
- Preparation of CT600s and SA100s
- Bookkeeping
- Company secretarial duties (e.g. HMRC registrations)
- Liaising with HMRC
- General client queries
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel
- Preferred candidates with have capabilities in other software (such as Sage, Xero, Quickbooks)
- Excellent data entry skills with high accuracy levels.
- Good communication skills to liaise effectively with other team members, HMRC and clients.
- Ability to manage own workload to tight deadlines
Ideal candidate will have ACCA/ACA qualification or be working towards this, we are happy to support further study/development.
AAT qualified or QBE candidates also considered depending on their experience.
Pay: £27,000\.00\-£32,000\.00 per year
