Supply Chain Support Placement

This is a placement year opportunity for students between 2nd and 3rd year.

The placement year runs from July 2027 \- July 2028

As a Supply Chain Support Placement, you’ll make your voice heard by assisting with some of our biggest and most crucial projects, with a view to being recognised as a “property champion”.

You will assist our Supplier Account Managers with responsibilities for maintaining and developing existing relationships with our global property partners. In addition, you may be required to support the Partner Relationships team by uploading new property content to our internal systems and learning how to program accurate and competitive live rates. Using your excellent communication skills, you’ll liaise directly with our property partners, respond to queries and help strengthen our partner network.

We’ll show you how to inspect properties, with an eagle’s eye for detail, as well as source new apartments that meet our high standards. You may also be tasked in finding properties in areas where we currently have no supply – making you a key part of our expansion strategy.

Our Supplier Account Managers host some fabulous events which require lots of fun networking on your part, so get ready to mingle!

You will work in our Supply Chain Management team – our hardworking and close\-knit team here at SilverDoor – who are responsible for managing our key accounts and establishing relationships with current and new property partners. They are our primary point of contact for all our global property partners.

When they’re not showing clients around the office, they’re out conducting property viewings and putting on big events for SilverDoor. The team play a key role in procuring and recommending the best apartments for our Account Management team to offer to our clients.

Your responsibilities may include:

• Uploading and maintaining property listings in our system with up\-to\-date content and images


• Managing property rate setup to load them online to SilverDoor’s very own booking tool


• Liaising with existing partners to promote collaboration and maintain strong relationships


• Assisting in the sourcing of new properties in key and underserved locations


• Conducting virtual and in\-person property inspections to ensure our standards are met


• Supporting Account Management with partner outreach and business development


• Helping the team organise and attend partner networking events and supplier visits


• Providing administrative and general team support as required

A chance for undergraduate students to develop their career path, achieve their goals and take their first steps in a full\-time working environment. Our 12\-month placement scheme is specifically for those on a sandwich course and carries all the learning opportunities and exposure of permanent employment. During the placement you’ll learn about our group and receive regular training. Successful candidates will live together in a placement house as arranged by the company.

Pay: £20,000\.00 per year

• As part of your placement with SilverDoor, mandatory accommodation is provided in a shared placement house with private bedrooms, where all placement students reside together. Please note that this housing is not free, a set amount would be deducted from your salary each month for rent and utility bills.
