Supply Chain Quality Engineer - PCB (m/f/d)

Supply Chain Quality Engineers are responsible for the technical elements of supply chain management throughout all product life cycle phases. This position is focusing on Printed Circuit Boards (PCBs): Ensure availability of high\-quality parts and assemblies, supported by robust supplier and supply chain capabilities.

Major tasks are:

• Ensure PCB Quality by establishing and enforcing IPC specifications and Advantest PCB guidelines across design, fabrication, and assembly


• Manage NPI qualification and supplier readiness; Material validation and release before mass production


• Drive failure analysis, root cause identification, and corrective actions; monitor quality KPIs via the supplier performance process and support assurance of supply initiatives


• Handle supplier claim management and risk mitigation to maintain delivery performance and product reliability


• Lead supplier audits, dual sourcing, and DFM communication to ensure manufacturability


• Approve manufacturing release for new products and maintain technical documentation

Requirements

• Bachelor/Master Degree or University Degree or equivalent with the subjects of Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Physics, Material Science or equivalent job experience


• Know\-how of manufacturing and related test processes for PCBs


• Knowledge of common failure mechanisms related PCBs


• Very good analytical skills in solving technical issues


• Team work/cross functional work capability


• Language skills: fluent in English (writing \& speaking); German min. B2


• Strong self\-management and coordination skills


• Good communicator, presenting skills
