The Supply Chain Manager is responsible for optimizing our end\-to end supply chain processes to reduce total cost of ownership (TCO) and ensuring a secure, efficient supply chain for non\-strategic spend. Drive transactions efficiency, enhance expertise and foster innovation

  • by leveraging technology, digitalization and vendor\-managed inventory (VMI) systems

  • by focus aligning with GIS’ goals of operational excellence, financial stability and customer satisfaction, ensuring we meet and exceed expectations in an ever\-changing market.

Key Responsibilities
  • End\-to\-end supply: Streamline processes using advanced technologies for optimal efficiency

  • VMI implementation: Optimize stock levels and secure supply chain through effective vendor partnerships

  • Innovation and technology: Stay ahead with cutting\-edge solutions to enhance procurement processes

Profile
  • Minimum 5 years experience with Supply Chain Planning \& Strategy (Sales \& Operations Planning processes, demand forecasting, production planning, inventory optimization)

  • Proven experience with procurement \& supplier management (strategic sourcing, contract negotiation, vendor performance management)

  • Knowledge of Inco\-terms, freight optimization, reverse logistics

  • Experience with Cost Control \& Budgeting (Total cost of ownership (TCO), cost\-saving initiatives, financial analysis for supply chain decisions)

  • Knowledge of Inventory \& Warehouse Management (Safety stock calculation, just\-in\-time (JIT), ABC classification, Warehouse layout and process optimization)

  • Experience with Logistics and Distribution Management (transportation, warehousing, order fulfillment)

  • Knowledge of ERP and Supply Chain Systems

Language Requirements
  • English: Full professional proficiency (working language)
