Supply Chain Development Advisor

This role monitors performance across supporting supply chain systems such as Order Management Systems (OMS), customer communication and customer return platforms, as well as maintaining system rules and logic as per business priorities and decisions. The executive will be involved in various projects throughout supply chain development ranging from warehouse to carrier to technical to returns projects and tasked with supporting the continuous improvement initiatives put in place. The advisor will also analyse end to end performance and troubleshoot across our supply chain where we could improve and be part of the think tank for improving our customer proposition. This role maintains stability of the current logic and processes for all digital orders.
Roles \& Responsibilities:
- Monitor OMS logic/flow across all delivery methods, options and fulfilment locations \- UK and Europe
- Work with OMS 3rd parties such as OneStock, Shopify, Fluent
- Support projects throughout supply chain department – UK and Europe
- Monitor Returns routing logic creation as per business requirements
- Support and maintain transactional communication journeys for online fulfilment, understanding systems and integrations involved
- Work with linked departments such as Retail, Merch, Trade \& Transport
- Maintain relationships with suppliers including technical systems
- Maintain visibility across OMS systems with rules and logic accuracy/performance
- Support with data and knowledge to project scopes which impact digital fulfilment engaging all relevant stakeholders both internal and external as relevant to projects
- Support stakeholders with BAU queries on supply chain projects
- Be a trusted contact for all JD peers, and build relationships throughout JD internal teams
- Produce, follow and complete required tasks both data analysis and operational
- Working knowledge of Supply Chain \& Logistics – preferably in Retail/Online
- Previous experience using OMS/CMS systems ideally
- Familiarity with customer experience
- Full working knowledge of Microsoft Office, proficient in Excel
- Ability to work within a team of varying skillsets \& project coverage
- Comfortable with fast paced work environment with frequent change
- Strong people skills with clear written and oral communication capabilities
- Ability to adapt communication style to various situations and stakeholders
- Can do, positive attitude for all and any challenges and tasks
- Degree preferred
