Supply Chain and Logistics Manager

The role

Diablo Sugar Free is Europe's largest no\-added\-sugar and sugar\-free confectionery company, with 117\+ products sold in 126 countries. We ship B2B and B2C from warehouses in the UK, the EU and the US.

We need a hands\-on operator to run the movement of our goods and build the system around it. You will report to the Director of Strategy as well as manage a small team which will grow as you do.

Key requirements

\- 3 to 6 years in supply chain or logistics at a product business, ideally food or FMCG

\- Hands\-on international freight experience: containers, pallets, Incoterms and bills of lading

\- Working customs experience: commodity codes, import and export paperwork, duties, rules of origin and managing a customs broker (UK and EU as a minimum, US a strong plus)

\- Experience of forecasting, stock planning or placing purchase orders with manufacturers

\- Has worked daily with warehouses or 3PLs and understands how a warehouse runs

\- Confident with an ERP and a warehouse management system, and strong in Excel

\- Has built trackers, SOPs or KPI reports from scratch

\- A proven negotiator who can show freight or carrier savings they delivered personally

\- Hard worker who enjoys the job, enjoys working hard and is willing to work long hours to get the job done and grow our mission to help people with better eating habits. We are not looking for someone who is counting the hours to go home. We are a fast moving and fast growing company and want people with that same energy

\- Someone detail orientated

\- Good leadership skills and someone who is very competent at doing the job themselves

\- Someone who wants to grow into an executive/head of logistics role

What you will do

\- Set up and track shipments end to end: quotes, bookings, documents and delivery

\- Place purchase orders with manufacturers and chase them through to collection

\- Own the demand forecast and keep the right stock in each warehouse

\- Negotiate freight and carrier rates and move us to direct relationships

\- Manage customs day to day with our broker and FDA agent

\- Build the KPIs, SOPs and trackers the team works from

\- Keep customers updated on orders, samples and shipping

\- Manage temperature\-sensitive shipping
