About the Role
As our Summer Support Production Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting the Production Team during our busiest period. This hands\-on role is ideal for someone practical, organised and proactive who enjoys working on a variety of creative projects and operational tasks.
You will assist with the construction, preparation, maintenance and organisation of promotional equipment, event materials and campaign assets used across a wide range of live marketing activities. Working from our Head Office and warehouse facilities, you will help ensure campaigns are delivered on time, on budget and to the highest standards.
This role offers a great opportunity to gain experience in experiential marketing, event production, logistics and warehouse operations within a fast\-paced and rewarding environment.
Key Responsibilities
Equipment Production
- Assist with the construction, painting, decorating and branding of promotional equipment, displays and event materials.
- Support the fabrication and assembly of campaign assets using practical woodworking and construction skills.
- Prepare equipment and materials for live campaigns, ensuring all items meet quality standards.
- Assist with loading, unloading, packing and transportation of equipment and campaign materials.
- Support production planning activities, including preparing materials, tracking timelines and assisting with supplier orders.
- Provide support for live campaigns and events as required.
- Assist with the maintenance, repair, storage and inventory management of company\-owned equipment.
- Support the sourcing, collection and return of rental equipment.
- Help organise campaign uniforms, including ordering, branding, storage and returns.
- Assist with vehicle checks, cleanliness and preparation for campaign activity.
- Support the organisation of rental vehicles, collections, returns and associated administration.
- Help coordinate deliveries, collections and logistics for campaigns nationwide.
- Assist with stock movements, tracking consignments and ensuring materials arrive on schedule.
- Maintain a clean, organised and efficient warehouse and storage environment.
- Assist with stock control, inventory management and asset tracking.
- Support goods\-in processes, checking deliveries and recording stock accurately.
- Help prepare campaign materials and equipment for dispatch.
- Assist with recycling, waste management and storage optimisation.
- Support the organisation of off\-site storage facilities and campaign logistics.
Essential
- Practical hands\-on skills and willingness to undertake manual tasks.
- Good organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong work ethic and positive attitude.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and work to deadlines.
- Full UK driving licence preferred.
- Experience in event production, construction, warehousing or logistics.
- Basic woodworking, painting or fabrication skills.
- Experience using hand and power tools.
- Forklift licence (not essential).
- Experience working within marketing, events or promotional industries.
