We have an exciting opportunity for a part time Substance Misuse Clinical Lead to join our Substance Misuse team at HMP Sudbury, a category D Prison, located in Ashbourne in East Midlands.
HMP Sudbury is a adult male prison with a population of 661\.
As a Substance Misuse Clinical Lead, you will play a key role in providing high\-quality clinical care and supporting the delivery of substance misuse services within the prison setting. You will need to be a qualified non\-medical prescriber, with RCGP Part 1 being desirable. Working as part of a dedicated team of four.

You’ll receive an annual salary is between £10,328 \- £11,602 per annum depending on experience.

What you'll be doing
As a Substance Misuse Clinical Lead, your responsibilities will vary. You will
- Provide substance misuse clinical leadership and management to the registered nurses and care teams.
- Deputise on behalf of the Deputy/Head of Healthcare when required.
- Work closely with partners to maintain a robust, high quality clinical service for patients. Ensure that own clinical practice is consistent with autonomous practice within the role.
- Model a culture of compassion, care, courage, commitment, communication and competence.
- Clinical Lead you will coach, line manage and develop clinician staff; support and contribute in undertaking audits and governance and contribute to developing and reviewing clinical/non clinical Local Operating Protocols for the site.
