At the heart of that success is our Support Office\-where innovation meets execution. We're now seeking a dynamic and commercially aware Purchasing Administrator to join our Buying team and help shape the product ranges our customers love.
Your Role:
As a Purchasing Administrator, you'll play an important role in supporting our Buying team and ensuring the smooth and accurate flow of products from our suppliers into the business.
Working closely with Buyers, suppliers and other Support Office teams, you'll be responsible for raising and managing purchase orders, maintaining accurate product and supplier information, monitoring deliveries and following up on outstanding orders.
You'll help ensure that the right products are available at the right time, while quickly identifying and resolving any order or supply issues that arise.
This is a busy, hands\-on role where accuracy, organisation and communication are essential. You'll manage multiple priorities, work to deadlines and ensure our purchasing information remains accurate and up to date.

What You'll Do:
- Raise and manage supplier purchase orders accurately and within agreed timelines.
- Maintain accurate supplier information, pricing, purchasing terms and product data.
- Update purchase orders with accurate pricing, quantities and expected delivery dates.
- Monitor outstanding purchase orders and proactively follow up with suppliers regarding deliveries.
- Work closely with the Buying team to respond to urgent stock requirements and changing business needs.
- Investigate and resolve order discrepancies, including non\-supplied, under\-supplied, over\-supplied and damaged goods.
- Maintain accurate purchasing records, supplier correspondence and supporting documentation.
- Ensure purchasing and product databases are accurate and kept up to date.
- Support stock and inventory control processes.
- Process goods receipts and assist with investigating supplier account and invoice queries.
- Coordinate the Return to Vendor process and follow up to ensure appropriate supplier credit notes are received.
- Assist with sourcing and monitoring freight services, ensuring service levels and costs remain competitive.
- Follow agreed purchasing procedures, policies and SOPs.
- Provide general administrative support to the Buying and Purchasing team.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues across Buying, Finance, Distribution and our stores.
- General Offices duties when required
- Carry out other reasonable duties associated with the role as required.
- Previous experience in an administrative or office\-based role.
- Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Good numerical skills and confidence working with data, pricing and quantities.
- Strong computer skills, with confidence using Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
- The ability to learn new systems and processes quickly.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- The confidence to communicate professionally with suppliers and colleagues.
- The ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines without losing attention to detail.
- A proactive approach to problem\-solving and following up on outstanding actions.
- A positive, collaborative approach and willingness to support the wider team.
