We're looking for a Sub Agent to join our United Utilities Framework based across the North West of England
Location: Blackburn and Manchester (Multiple locations available)
Hours: 45 per week – some flexibility on hours available if desired, just let us know when you speak to us.
We are unable to offer certificates of sponsorship to any candidates in this role.
Join us as a Sub Agent and play a vital role in delivering projects that make a real difference. You'll work alongside a supportive team, coordinating site activities and ensuring work is completed safely, on schedule, and to the highest quality standards. What will you be responsible for?
As a Sub Agent, you'll be working within the project delivery team, supporting them in managing and delivering successful construction projects.
Your day\-to\-day will include:
- Overseeing daily site operations, ensuring work meets project plans, specifications, and safety standards
- Coordinating with engineers, forepersons, and subcontractors to maintain smooth workflow
- Monitoring progress against schedules and implementing solutions to address any delays
- Conducting site inspections, quality checks, and risk assessments to ensure compliance
- Supporting resource management, including labour, materials, and equipment, to maximise efficiency
This role of Sub Agent is ideal for you if:
- You have experience in site management, civil engineering, or construction supervision
- You possess strong organisational skills and can coordinate teams and resources effectively
- You have a solid understanding of construction methodologies and health \& safety regulations
- You can read and interpret technical drawings and project specifications
- You hold a full driving licence and are willing to travel between project sites as required
