Studio & Project Manager

Ellicar Natural Pools \& Gardens is an award\-winning, family\-run design and build company specialising in bespoke natural swimming pools and naturalistic landscapes.

We have an exciting opportunity for a creative, forward\-thinking Studio \& Project Manager to join our team and take responsibility for delivering exceptional landscaping projects across the UK. You’ll provide the central link between Ellicar’s clients, design and delivery team, and office support. This involves coordinating projects from initial design development, costing, construction, handover and aftercare. You’ll keep projects moving, make responsibilities and next steps clear, and ensure clients receive proactive, reassuring communication throughout their journey with Ellicar. You will have the opportunity to creatively assist during the CAD design phase.

What you'll be doing

● Client communication: Provide point of contact throughout the full project journey and aftercare, building strong relationships with clients in a warm, professional manner.

● Project management: Assign priorities, actions, responsibilities and deadlines across multiple teams, proactively identifying risks and opportunities early.

● Contract \& Invoice Management: Write up proposals, estimates and contracts together with multiple teams, and manage phased invoicing and project variations.

● Plant Stock Coordination: Take ownership of ordering and managing plants for soft landscaping projects, and managing in\-house stock.

● Team Coordination: Lead studio team, organising smooth running of projects through multiple team delivery.

● Design: Assist design team with production of mood boards, 2D concept plan rendering and 3D visuals where possible.

Skills and experience

● Relevant experience in landscape design, landscape architecture, garden design or a closely related design\-and\-build environment.

● Experience coordinating multiple client projects through design development and delivery.

● A practical understanding of how landscape projects are designed, specified, costed and constructed.

● Strong client\-management and communication skills, with the confidence to lead meetings and manage expectations.

● Excellent organisation, prioritisation and follow\-through, supported by sound commercial awareness.

● Strong IT and digital skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office. Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite and design software such as SketchUp would be desirable.

● The ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, programmes and commercial information; a full UK driving licence is required.

Pay: £40,000\.00 per year
