Are you a proactive student looking to make an impact in a global maritime company? Svitzer, a leader in towage and marine services, is looking for a Student Assistant to join our Performance and Products team within Group Operations. This is an exciting opportunity to gain hands\-on experience and develop your skills across a diverse range of activities.
As our new Student Assistant, you will play a hands\-on role in supporting the Product \& Performance team in delivering on Svitzer’s strategic priorities. You will take ownership of smaller projects and help coordinate initiatives that strengthen our operational processes and systems across the business. With your analytical mindset, you will work with operational data to uncover performance insights and support decision\-making, while building a solid understanding of how Svitzer operates globally. Through this, you will contribute to enhancing performance management and driving continuous improvement across our operations.

More about the role
You will report to the Head of Performance \& Products and work closely within a team of five (including you and your manager). While based in Copenhagen, you will also collaborate with colleagues across the globe.
*Key responsibilities include:*
- Support the Product \& Performance team in delivering on Svitzer’s strategic priorities.
- Take ownership of and coordinate projects within operations that improve processes and systems.
- Analyse operational data to generate performance insights.
- Build an understanding of Svitzer’s business and operational requirements to support performance management.

*Ideally, you:*
- Hold a valid visa and work permit for Denmark.
- Are actively enrolled in a relevant university programme (e.g. Business, Engineering, Maritime Studies or similar).
- Are fluent in English with strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Are proactive and detail\-oriented, with the ability to take initiative.
- Have an analytical mindset and are comfortable working with data and digital tools. (experience with Power BI or Python is an advantage, not a requirement).
- Collaborate well with colleagues across different teams and cultures.
