Structural / Senior Structural Engineer

ADS Consult are looking to expand their technical team with the addition of a highly motivated individual who is technically adept and confident in their communication with others. The candidate will be competent in Tekla Structural Designer and various other software to facilitate the delivery of technical documents, quality designs and aid in the process of producing structural design drawings.

The ideal candidate will have strong communication and management skills alongside a degree in either structural or civil engineering. The candidate should be working towards professional qualification such as CEng, IEng, MIStructE, MICE, AMICE.

The candidate will have a minimum of 2 years experience in consulting as a structural engineer. Additional experience is preferable and will be reflected in the agreed salary.

Role requirements

• Prepare structural calculations in steel, concrete, timber, and masonry.


• Skilled in the design and delivery of commercial, residential and industrial sectors.


• Produce structural designs using TSD, Tedds, hand calculations. Knowledge of IdeaStatica is desirable.


• Play a crucial role in delivering technical solutions, whilst balancing commercial and technical aspects.


• Ensure the delivery of high\-quality and technically excellent solutions, facilitating seamless information sharing with other discipline teams.
