Structural Engineer

My client is a well‑established civil and structural engineering consultancy in South Wales, delivering high‑quality design solutions across commercial and infrastructure sectors.

Due to their continued growth and success, they are looking to engage with talented Graduates (minimum 2 years’ experience) and also Experienced Structural Engineers to join their expanding team.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver structural design solutions in steel, concrete, timber, and masonry


• Prepare calculations, drawings, and technical reports


• Work collaboratively with senior engineers, technicians, and external stakeholders


• Attend site visits, inspections, and client meetings


• Contribute to project delivery from concept through to completion

Requirements

• Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering


• Minimum 2 years’ post‑graduate experience for graduate‑level applicants


• Strong understanding of UK design codes and standards


• Proficiency in structural analysis software (e.g., Tekla, Tedds, Robot, or similar)


• Excellent communication and problem‑solving skills


• Progress toward chartership (IEng/CEng) desirable for all applicants
