Architen Landrell is looking for a new addition to its dynamic and forward\-thinking team. We work with some of the most exciting companies in the world, building inspiring and innovative structures.
As a specialist subcontractor in the construction sector, we collaborate with architects, engineers, main contractors and creative influencers to deliver everything from stadium roofs to the world’s largest disco ball, with a generous sprinkling of rock and pop to keep us on our toes!
Every day is different but generally you will:
- Work closely with the sales team to understand client briefs, translating technical requirements into buildable, cost\-effective schemes
- Translate client briefs into workable structural design concepts, balancing technical feasibility, buildability, and aesthetic intent.
- Prepare accurate project costings and estimates to support commercial proposals and client decision\-making
- Present design concepts and technical solutions clearly to clients, tailoring communication to both technical and non\-technical audiences
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients throughout the pre\-contract stage, acting as a trusted technical point of contact
- Attend client meetings, site visits, and design reviews to develop schemes from initial concept through to tender\-ready proposals
- Liaise with internal teams—sales, design, and manufacturing—to ensure schemes are realistic, deliverable, and aligned with company capabilities.
- Support bid preparation by contributing technical narratives, drawings, and specifications to tender submissions
- Identify opportunities to add value or optimise designs for cost, performance, and sustainability.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritising effectively to meet proposal deadlines and client expectations
- Must be a qualified Engineer
- Proven ability to develop structural schemes from concept through to detailed design
- Proficiency in CAD and/or 3D modelling software
- Ability to read and produce technical drawings, specifications, and tender documentation
- Ability to prepare clear, accurate costings that underpin commercial decisions
- Commercially aware and deadline\-driven

Pay: £33,000\.00\-£35,000\.00 per year
