PURPOSE OF THE JOB

• Managing CAD activities


• Performing 3D detailed design of Carbody Shell structure


• Performing 2D design of primary parts and assemblies


• Managing subcontrating or work done in Shared Engineering Center

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

Performance Measurement/KPI’s

• Installation lead time delivery after complete reception of P phase 3D


• Respect of DMU classification rules


• Quality of deliverables (first time right)

Responsibilities
*Accountable and responsible for: (activities that cannot be delegated to N\-1 in the operational org. chart \- CAD)*\- Managing CAD activities

• Ensuring interface with subcontractors

*Accountable for: (can be done by the MDE or delegated to CAD)*

• 3D Detailed design of structural parts considering

\- Allocated volumes given as inputs

\- Interfaces defined with stakeholders

\- Load cases

\- Technical referential (materials characteristics, ECA constraints,...)

\- Manufacturability constraints

• 2D or annotated 3D Detailed design of structural parts considering internal rules of data structuration

*Contributes to*

• Providing weight data to Weight Discipline Engineer


• Calculation optimization with Structural Integrity Discipline Engineer


• Dimensional management activity (A is MLE (CBS impact only) or TOL\-LE (train level impact))

MAIN REQUIRED COMPETENCIES

Educational Requirements *\&* Experience

Mandatory:

• Graduated from Mechanical Engineering school with Master of Science degree

Desirable:

None

Experience

Mandatory:

• Mechanical Engineering preferably applied to Railway products with 1 to 2 years of experience

Desirable:

• 3D Modelling, drawing creation


• Design in heavy industry


• Concurrent Engineering

• English basics in read/writing and technical meetings


• Italian basics in read/writing and technical meetings

Salary Range 33\.800 € \- 45\.000 €
