Strategy & BizOps Lead, Germany

The Waymo Driver has provided over ten million rider-only trips, enabled by its experience autonomously driving over 100 million miles on public roads and tens of billions in simulation across 15+ U.S. states.</p></div><p>The Strategy & BizOps team drives and executes against the company’s go-to-market strategy. We leverage quantitative and qualitative analysis to create long-term business strategies and help execute on Waymo’s commercial deployment. The team is analytically driven, with a proactive mentality, focused on finding and delivering on high impact projects.</p>
<p><strong>You will:</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Lead the Germany GTM strategy, building and executing a new business from the ground up</li>
<li>Conduct deep-dive market analysis, competitive landscaping, and quantitative modeling to provide insights for strategic decision making</li>
<li>Lead high-priority, cross-functional initiatives for scaling German operations and quarterbacking large multi-disciplinary teams</li>
<li>Develop pricing scenarios, business cases, and deal reviews for long-term commercial success</li>
<li>Define, track, and report on KPIs for a local business, driving commercial deployment</li>
<li>Build strong relationships with Product, Partnerships, Policy, Regulatory, and Operations teams to influence global thinking</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>You have:</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Deep market entry or operations experience, ideally at a high-growth technology, AI, mobility, or AV company</li>
<li>Proven track record of building and executing GTM strategy for new international markets</li>
<li>Strong quantitative and analytical modeling skills (e.g., advanced Excel / Google Sheets) with high attention to detail</li>
<li>Excellent communication and cross-functional project management skills to lead diverse stakeholders</li>
<li>Ability to navigate policy and regulatory environments, specifically within the German market</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>We prefer:</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Background in Management Consulting, Investment Banking, Private Equity, or Strategy & BizOps</li>
<li>Owner-mentality with a proactive approach to solving complex, ambiguous business problems</li>
<li>Deep knowledge of local German market nuances and strategic landscape</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Travel requirements:</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Travel is required, estimated at 30% for operational oversight and external meetings with government stakeholders and strategic partners.</li>
