Strategic Sourcing Manager

Join Mediq as a Strategic Sourcing Manager and play a pivotal role at the intersection of procurement, business development, and commercial strategy. In this high\-impact role, you will build long\-term partnerships with suppliers, strengthen our product portfolio, and accelerate growth across key HealthCare Solutions segments such as Surgical, OR \& ICU, and Lab.

About the Role

You will work closely with Commercial Business Development and Global Category Directors to translate market and customer insights into sourcing strategies and concrete supplier\-driven opportunities. This role combines strategic thinking with hands\-on execution, from scouting supplier innovations to leading negotiations, contracting, and ensuring compliance and supply continuity.

Key Responsibilities \- What are you going to do?

  • Build and manage strategic supplier relationships, including SRM and QBR governance.

  • Identify, structure, and prioritize supplier\-driven growth opportunities with clear business cases.

  • Lead end\-to\-end execution of sourcing projects and onboarding of new suppliers.

  • Drive commercial value through negotiation, contracting, and risk management.

  • Collaborate cross\-functionally to align local sourcing with global strategies.

Qualifications and Skills \- What is your background?
  • Proven negotiation expertise and experience closing commercial agreements.

  • Strong background in supplier\-driven business development or M\&A.

  • Excellent stakeholder management skills, including influencing senior leaders.

  • Strong analytical mindset with a structured, data\-driven problem\-solving approach.

  • Fluency in English; Nordic languages are a plus.
