Strategic Pricing Manager EMEA (m/w/d)
Overview:
As Strategic Pricing Manager EMA (f/m/d) you will support the tender \& bid management elements of our business. You will be expected to work individually and as part of the team, researching and understanding individual pre\-qualification and tender requirements in respect of the submissions being made to ensure that they accurate, fully compliant and the deadlines are successfully met. You will be the first point of contact for all quotes and general quote related enquiries from our internal and external customers. The position is positioned in Feldkirchen by Munich, but other site locations in EMEA can be considered as well. How You’ll Make an Impact:* Own and continuously evolve the EMEA pricing strategy, ensuring compliance, transparency, and alignment with global policies while remaining highly attuned to local market and tender realities.
- Act as a strategic business partner to Sales and Marketing teams, co‑developing go‑to‑market pricing strategies for reagents, instruments, bundles, and services, and actively supporting tender strategies when required.
- Monitor and anticipate competitive actions, tender outcomes, and pricing trends, translating market intelligence into clear, actionable pricing recommendations.
- Balance value‑based pricing and margin protection with commercial competitiveness, particularly in price‑sensitive tenders, reagent pull‑through models, and long‑term service contracts.
- Build strong cross‑functional alignment across Sales, Marketing, Finance, Commercial Operations, and sub\-regions within EMEA, influencing without authority and ensuring pricing decisions are understood, adopted, and consistently executed.
- Champion a pricing excellence mindset across EMEA, strengthening pricing capabilities, analytics, and decision‑making in a complex and competitive healthcare environment.
- Monitor submission timelines closely and ensure all tender and contract deadlines are met without exception.
- 5\+ years experience in price management in the healthcare industry
- Extensive experience in the Bio\-Rad (or its competitors) business models
- Experience in Sales, Marketing or Commercial Operations
- Exhaustive experience in the use of price engine tools (e.g. Vendavo, Zilliant, PROS), preferably also in the implementation of this tool
- Excellent in working with SAP, PBI and Excel
- Proven track record in strategic planning
- Excellent stakeholder communication and presentation skills
- Deep knowledge about Bio\-Rad addressable market and its segments, preferably deep knowledge about Bio\-Rad portfolio and competitor’s portfolio
- Preferably experience in leading Transformation / Change management projects
- Communication skills, ability and experience to communicate complex ideas/projects and to manage relevant stakeholders
- University Degree in finance, business, marketing, economics, pharma/healthcare
- Financial modeling, analytical mind, process driven and result orientation
