In PartyHQ we are party and balloon retailers! Specialising in balloons, celebrations, seasonal events and customer experiences. We are a fast\-paced and growing business looking for an energetic, organised and hands\-on Store Manager to lead our store.

The Role

We are looking for a strong retail leader, capable of driving store standards, sales performance and team development while delivering an exceptional customer experience.

As Store Manager, you will oversee the day\-to\-day running of the store, manage and develop your team, maintain excellent merchandising standards and ensure operational excellence across all areas of the business.

A strong understanding of balloons and celebration retail is highly desirable, as balloons are a key part of our business and customer experience.

One unique aspect of this role is Halloween season. During this period, the company opens multiple Halloween pop\-up stores across Ireland, while PartyHQ itself becomes the flagship store of the season.

Because of this, the successful candidate may occasionally be required to support other locations during peak trading periods. A high level of flexibility, organisation and attention to detail is essential throughout the Halloween season, as this is the busiest and most important trading period for the business.

Responsibilities

• Lead, motivate and develop the store team


• Drive sales performance and achieve store targets


• Manage rotas, payroll hours and staffing levels


• Maintain exceptional store presentation and merchandising standards


• Ensure high standards of customer service at all times


• Support balloon operations and balloon sales within the store


• Oversee deliveries, stock control and back\-of\-house organisation


• Train staff on company standards and procedures


• Handle customer issues professionally and efficiently


• Work closely with senior management to improve store performance

Requirements

• Previous retail management experience


• Strong leadership and organisational skills


• Excellent communication and problem\-solving abilities


• Ability to work in a fast\-paced retail environment


• Commercial awareness and ability to manage store KPIs


• Flexible availability including weekends during peak periods


• Balloon experience is a strong advantage
