The role in short
As a member of the Stock Control team, you will support all Operational teams across two sites, ensuring that the day\-to\-day accuracy of all inventory levels is maintained. To investigate and report all stock related anomalies / discrepancies and to reflect the true integrity level of all stock, within all Plumbworld operations systems.
37\.5 hour contract
Starting salary of £28,762\.50 (£14\.75 per hour) working 8am to 4pm Monday to Friday

- Carry out, targeted, daily P.I. checks of Inventory, fully investigating and validating stock differences
- Reconcile stock shortages and report back to Inventory Manager all issues
- Daily checking of empty bins locations for stock.
- Managing and clearing of the “special bins” e.g., damage, cancelled orders, QC and cannot finds.
- Provide key information for the generation of weekly reports
- Management of stock moves into and out of third\-party storage locations.
- Reconcile daily stock moves between warehouses, ensuring all discrepancies are cleared
- Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment, ensuring all health and safety procedures are followed.
- Promote high standards of accuracy, quality, integrity, and safe working practices within the warehouse environment.
- Fulfil other duties, in support of the operation, as and when requested by Operations Management
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Computer literate, able to use basic Microsoft packages, with proficiency in Excel
- Conscientious and reliable
- Good communication skills and the ability to challenge and solve problems
- High attention to detail, especially when working in high pressured environments
- Ability to prioritise workload
- Capable of working under own initiative
- Full driving Licence
- MHE licences – Forklifts and Scissor lifting platforms
