To support our continued growth, we’re looking for a Stock Controller who can keep our inventory sharp, our orders flowing, and our customers happy.

The Role

As our Stock Controller, you’ll manage stock levels, track slab movements, process customer orders, and support the warehouse team to ensure every delivery is accurate and on time.

Key Responsibilities

• Inventory Management — Maintain accurate stock levels of granite, quartz, and stone slabs.


• Order Processing — Input, update, and manage customer orders from start to dispatch.


• Customer Service — Support customers with stock queries, order updates, and product information.


• Stock Reconciliation — Conduct regular cycle counts and full stock takes.


• Yard Coordination — Work closely with yard teams to track slab movements and deliveries.


• Quality Checks — Inspect incoming materials for damage, defects, or discrepancies.


• System Updates — Keep digital stock systems accurate and up to date.


• Logistics Support — Assist with preparing orders, loading schedules, and dispatch documentation.

• Experience in stock control, ideally within granite, stone, construction, or heavy materials.


• Strong customer service skills with confidence handling enquiries and resolving issues.


• Experience with order processing and working with inventory or ERP systems.


• Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.


• Comfortable working in a yard environment around heavy materials.


• A proactive, reliable, and safety‑focused approach.


• FLT licence is an advantage but not essential.
