Job Summary

Duties

• Handle materials with care, including loading, unloading, and moving stock throughout the warehouse


• Operate forklifts safely and efficiently to transport heavy or bulky items (licence required)


• Use warehouse management systems to track inventory levels, update stock records, and manage order processing (BigChange CRM)


• Prepare orders by picking and packing items accurately for engineers to pick up


• Stock shelves and storage areas systematically to ensure easy access and organization


• Conduct quality control checks to verify product integrity and identify any damages or discrepancies


• Assist with shipping and receiving processes by verifying shipments against documentation and ensuring timely dispatch or receipt of goods


• Occassionally assist the Transport Co\-ordinator with the movement of the vehicles to garages and Head Office

Experience

• Previous warehouse experience is preferred but not essential; training will be provided for the right candidate


• Familiarity with materials handling equipment such as forklifts is advantageous; certification is a plus


• Basic mechanical knowledge can help in understanding equipment operation and troubleshooting minor issues


• Experience with warehouse management systems or inventory software is beneficial


• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and consistently throughout shifts


• Strong attention to detail for stock accuracy, quality checks, and order fulfillment


• Willingness to work in a physically active role in a fast\-paced environment

Pay: £30,000\.00\-£35,000\.00 per year
