Customer Service Delivery Driver – Class 1 (C+E)
We are looking for reliable, professional and customer\-focused Class 1 (C\+E) HGV Drivers to join our client delivery team in Heywood, supporting deliveries to one of the UK's leading fast\-food restaurant brands.
This is more than just a driving role. As a Customer Service Delivery Driver, you will represent the delivery operation when delivering essential food products to restaurants across the UK. You will play an important part in ensuring restaurants receive the correct products, on time and in excellent condition.
The role includes multi\-drop deliveries of ambient, chilled and frozen food products, completing delivery paperwork and electronic delivery records, and reverse logistics including waste cardboard, plastics and waste oil. Drivers will also carry out vehicle safety checks, report defects and maintain a clean and professional vehicle.
Applicants must hold a valid Category C\+E (Class 1\) licence, current Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card. A good understanding of Drivers' Hours and Road Transport Regulations is required, together with an excellent driving and accident record and no more than 6 licence points.
AM shifts operate between 00:00 and 11:59 and pay £21\.50 per hour. PM shifts operate between 12:00 and 23:59 and pay £23\.44 per hour. A weekend working premium of £61\.15 per day applies.
Applicants must have at least 6 months' recent relevant Class 1 driving experience for insurance purposes. Own transport is required due to the location and shift start times.
Pay: £21\.50\-£23\.44 per hour
Expected hours: 30\.0 – 55\.0 per week
