A Typical Day as a Store Manager:

  • Lead your store to success by ensuring exceptional operational standards and delivering consistent excellence across customer service, food safety, hygiene, and Starbucks brand expectations.

  • Drive store performance through effective inventory management, stock control, merchandising, and regular reporting to keep the store running efficiently and delivering strong results.

  • Identify opportunities to improve performance by reducing waste, managing labour effectively, reviewing processes, and implementing action plans that support business goals.

  • Take ownership of commercial performance through responsible cash management, budget planning, expenditure control, and making informed decisions that support store growth.

  • Build and develop a high\-performing team by coaching, mentoring, and creating a positive and inclusive environment where colleagues feel supported to grow and succeed.

  • Recruit, develop, and inspire talent by attracting great people, planning rotas effectively, and motivating the team to deliver exceptional service and maximise opportunities.

  • Create a culture of recognition and accountability by celebrating success, supporting colleague wellbeing, and managing people matters fairly and consistently in line with company policies.
