Staff Nurse - Nights

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Nursing Home Nurse to join our team in Leslie, Fife for out full time Nurse position. In this role, you will provide high\-quality nursing care to our residents, ensuring their safety, dignity, and well\-being at all times. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to support the physical and emotional health of our residents, delivering person\-centred care in a warm and friendly environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide professional nursing care to residents, assessing their individual needs and developing tailored care plans.


• Administer medication, monitor health conditions, and respond promptly to any changes in a resident’s condition.


• Work collaboratively with care staff, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure the best outcomes for our residents.


• Maintain accurate records in line with regulatory requirements and best practices.


• Promote a positive and supportive atmosphere, fostering a sense of community among residents.


• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards set by the Care Inspectorate Scotland and the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC).


• Support residents with personal care needs while respecting their dignity and independence.


• Supervise and mentor junior staff and care assistants as needed.

Requirements

• Registered Nurse (RGN/RMN) with a valid NMC PIN.


• Previous experience in elderly care, nursing homes, or a similar setting is desirable.


• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a compassionate approach.


• Ability to work effectively in a team and independently.


• A commitment to upholding the highest standards of care and professional ethics.
