Staff Nurse

Duties

• Deliver comprehensive patient care, including monitoring vital signs and assessing patient needs


• Administer prescribed medications accurately and safely, adhering to established protocols


• Assist with medical procedures and support diagnostic tests as required


• Maintain detailed and accurate patient records in accordance with healthcare regulations


• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualised care plans


• Educate patients and their families about health management, medication use, and post\-discharge care


• Ensure the cleanliness and organisation of the nursing station and clinical areas


• Respond promptly to patient calls and emergencies, providing reassurance and appropriate intervention

Skills

• Proven experience in patient care within a clinical or hospital environment


• Strong knowledge of human anatomy and physiology relevant to nursing practice


• Competence in medication administration, including understanding dosages, contraindications, and side effects


• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to empathise with patients and work effectively within a team


• Organised with meticulous attention to detail in record keeping and procedure adherence


• Ability to remain calm under pressure, demonstrating professionalism during emergencies or high\-stress situations


• Relevant nursing qualifications recognised by the appropriate regulatory body

Pay: £28\.00\-£31\.00 per hour
